I myself am running an ECS mobo w/ dual core processor &320 gig sata drive,dual booting xp pro & PCLinux.Simply go into your bios settings change your booting sequence to ensure your dvd/cd drive is the first boot device.Put in the xp installation cd and reboot.Then when told to,hit any key to boot from cd.The installation should go smoothly from that point
