i disabled the information bar so that it automatically opened in vlc media player.
for some reason, now it opens the window but then says downloading from site at the status bar but doesn't open it in vlc.

i have tried to change the settings back so that it brings up the information bar but it doesn't anymore. and i can't listen to the files.
