...messages. What did I do wrong setting Used my yahoo e-mail address on microsoft outlook 2007 and getting error messages. What did I do wrong setting it up? when it gets to the type of addres (pop, ect.) for a yahoo e-mail address what should I click on?

You have to be using the PAY version of yahoo email to use it with windows, the free version does not work.....EVER!!!

In order to use a separate email program, such as Outlook, Outlook Express, or Thunderbird, with Yahoo Mail you need to pay for Yahoo Mail Plus. When you do you can set the incoming server to pop.mail.yahoo.com and the outgoing server to smtp.mail.yahoo.com.

As an alternative there is an add on called YPOPS that you can download and try.
