My computer has been infected with a virus that won't let me get on the internet even though I have an active internet connection, Norton won't detect it and the virus is preventing spyware doctor from working! I downloaded another virus eliminator onto my USB flash drive but when I insert it into my computer, the flash drive doesn't show up even when I look for it in my computer! How do I get rid of this virus?My USB flash drive works fine on other comps. Again I have NO internet connection on that comp. Im thinking that it might be a....rootkit virus but Im not sure.

go to free.grisoft.com and download free AVG antivirus. Use the ocmputer you are using now and save it to a cd and then put the cd in your own computer. It will find the problem and remove the virus.
