Ive got a virus or something from a usb stick and so far it has affected the pc upto an extent that when i go to MY COMPUTER and right click on any of my hard drives, the commands OPEN and EXPLORE are written in chinese(or sumthing like that). Someone told me that its a virus that slows down the computer and it cannot be removed without formatting the whole harddisk. Isnt there any other way to remove the virus???? Plz help...

I would try puting in a Anit-virus and Anti-spyware,Once you put both in run scans and see if it picks it up. A good free AV is AVG i use that and i have heard that Avast is also good. A good anti spyware is Ad-aware. Just go to download.com and type each one in and download it. All are free that should take care of the virus.

Download the AVG Anti-Virus 7.5 then do a scan on your computer and then quatine it and then delete it and ur computer then is safe! ~GOOD LUCK~
