All of a sudden whenever I try to log into the internet explorer or any web based icon it takes about 3 minutes to open, WHY? I'm on broadband, tiscali, I looked at my download speed and it shows my download speed is 514kBs. I'm supposed to have 4mb. What's happened here, I've got every spyware/virus checker and registry cleaner but nothing. HELP.

it certainly shouldn't take that long. there very well may be a spyware or virus running in stealth mode. did u run ur scan from SAFE MODE? did you try an online scan like from Trend Micro?
it doesn't sound to me like it is hardware related.

Delete the temporary internet files and cookies.

Thats exactly what happened to me and I just downloaded Firefox and it works great and is faster.
