This is a new computer with not much on it that takes up space. Plenty of memory and RAM. IE lately has frozen up EVERY time I navigate the Internet. I have to close it down (end program) in Task Manager daily. Sometimes I have to shut down the whole computer. I have virus protection/firewall and I run scans often and I defrag and I do all I am supposed to so that I don't get adware, spyware, trojans, etc. So why is IE being so rotten? It's not even worth having an Internet connection when I can't use it. (BTW, I have DSL.)

Ie sucks, was always crashing on me also, too many security issues. Try Mozzila firefox browser, works just like IE with no issues, ive been using it for a year now with no problems. the only time i use IE now is when i update from the windows update site.

juz try this one bro. click on tools on the upright corner then click delete browsing history>click delete all and check the also delete files and settings stored by add-ons and click yes. To make it a little bit faster, click run then regedit>Hkey_Current_User>Software>Microsoft>Windo ws> Current Version>Internet Settings> right click on the right side of regedit then click new>DWORD Value> then name MaxConnectionsPerServer and make value 30 then> again right click>new>DWORD value> name it MaxConnectionsPer1_0Server. Your Internet Explorer will become a little faster now but if it's still buggy, start IE without add-ons.
To do this, click Start>All programs>System Tools> click Internet Explorer (No Add-ons) if it fixed the problem maybe there must be something wrong with the add-ons, maybe not updated, too many or there's really problem with add-ons. if it doesn't worked download Firefox 3.01 now and have better performance than ever. I know how to speed up also Firefox. Private message me if you're a little interested. The Firefox 3.01 download link is: http://www.mozilla.com/en-US/firefox/ I hope it helps |
