Internet Explorer 6.0
Windows XP Embarq DSL Well, it seems like every time I use the internet now, it closes on me. Just for no reason. It can when I sign into something, when I browse to another page, or just when I'm scrolling. I don't know what is wrong. I appreciate your time and effort! Chris |

Chris, you probably should download a better browser. Internet Explorer is not stable at all.
-------------------------------------- Try Firefox (it's secure and popular). http://www.mozilla.com/firefox It's easy to install, download it and run it. You just have to click on next a couple of times and it's done. It can also transfer your history and bookmarks from Internet Explorer to Firefox. -------------------------------------- If you don't like Firefox, you can give a try to Opera. It's stable too, fast and secure. It's also free. http://www.opera.com -------------------------------------- P.S.: Don't try the other guy's idea.. Safari is a Mac OS browser. Firefox works with Windows XP. |

I'm gonna second the FF suggestion, but if you are bent on keeping IE, check out Microsoft's website for any updates. Also, you could try reinstalling. Not as though you have anything to lose, you favorites and bookmarks will still be there.
Personally, I have about 8 browsers (the fun of being a web developer). I use ALL of them for testing purposes, and I've spent time just surfing around on all of them...I come back to Firefox though. It's fast, pretty stable, and I absolutely love some of the available add-ons (particularly ones for web-developer folk like myself). |
