Inserting Page Numbers in Microsoft Works Word Processor 2007?

How do I go about entering page numbers into a Microsoft Works Word Processor (2007- Vista). Everytime I try by clicking Insert, then Page Numbers, it just adds a number to where my cursor is, but not in a corner of the page.

Inserting page numbers is a bit different with this new version of Word. Click to the insert tab and then click on the page number button to the right. A drop-down list will appear and should be able to select the type and position of the page number you want. If this is not happening, you possibly have some option selected. Open options or preferences and look around until you find it. It's always there somewhere, you just have to look.
