file> save as> drag down list to where you want it to go> rename > save.

or do you mean a cd rom? you have to get a program that makes cd roms. like nero or roxio. start the program> new burn session> data cd/dvd> click and drag files> burn

I think you are wanting to copy a word file/document to CD.
Open my documents, right click the document,click on send to and choose your CD/DVD drive and click on copy. But first format the CD, go to start, click on my computer, insert CD into drive, click on format and then finish.
