I really can't afford Word at the moment. As much as I want to, I just don't have the money.

So I'm wondering what other options there are out there.

I've heard of OpenOffice, and what do you think about it? Any other alternatives?

I only need a word processor for the most basic stuff. I don't really need the fancy stuff, at least not yet.

So what do you have to offer me?

Open office. Google it is free and a great program!!!
