Default Microsoft Word 2003...?

How do i get the little 2 and the little 3 on word 2003? You know lyk the squared 2 and the cubed 3, i need them, how do i get it? thanks

if you want it below the text you simply type it, select it, go to format menu and click on font. from there select the subscript checkbox. if you want above the text you select superscript instead of subscript. BEST OF LUCK!

it is called superscript (used in wriitng n squared n2) and subscript (used in writing H2O)

Highlight the number(s)/letter(s). Click on Format, then Font. Under Effects click the check box for superscript (raises and makes it smaller) or subscript (lowers and makes it smaller).

Two options there:
1. Before typing the character:- Press Ctrl+Shift+= then type the number.
2. After typing the character: Select the number and press Ctrl+Shift+=.
