I need to make a line graph for algebra, and I successfully made he graph but I need a title and I need to correctly label the x and y axis. I know what to label the axis with, but I can't figure out how to do it. I think I got the title in but I'm not sure. Can someone please help me?
That is very useful information, and I thank you for that, but the assignment sheet for our project says, "Create a line graph using Excel" so it has to be a line graph. |

Because you are making the graph for algebra, it is very likely that you should be using a Scatter chart instead of a line chart.
Create your data table with the X values in a column and the Y values in the next column to the right. Select all of the data and use the chart wizard to create a Scatter chart with no connecting lines. Right click in the chart are white space (not in the actual chart) and select Chart Options to find the place to enter the chart title and lables for the X axis and Y axis. Right click on one of the data points in the chart and select Add Trendline. Select a type of trendline and find where you can select to have the formula for the tendline display on the chart. If you decide you want to try a different chart type right click on the white space again and select Chart Type |
