Default How do I overwrite certain fields in Microsoft Access while leaving others and not...

...allowing duplicates? I built a simple one table database with a primary key that does not allow duplicates. Each day I import data from a spreadsheet in Excel. This allows me to add new data but does not change any of the existing data even if it changes on the Excel sheet. How can I change my database so that it still will not allow duplicate records, and won't change or delete some of the existing fields, but will overwrite some of the existing fields?
