Hi i have a slight problem on an Excel file:
I want to reference one cell to a cell from another sheet (ie on a different sheet indicated by the tabs at the near bottom of the page) but whenever i try this (formula being =, going to the cell and then pressing enter) this comes up: #VALUE! how do I change this so that it works? |

I am not sure I understand exactly what you are trying to do, but this should help.
This formula is on sheet 3 - It multiples 12 times the value of Sheet1, Cell F12: =SUM(12*Sheet1!F12) (The value on sheet 1 can be a simple value or a calculation.) If you are referencing a cell on another sheet, the cell location on the different sheet must be prepended by the sheet name followed by an !
