Could you please tell me how you add a YouTube video onto a Microsoft PowerPoint slide? I have to do a project and I want some YouTube videos on the slide. They don't have the subject of the video I'm looking for on their website. Thanks and God Bless and have a wonderful Thanksgiving!!

Copy the link then paste to powerpoint as a hyperlink. Once you view it in presentation mode, you should be able to click on the link.

Which sounds best:
New Eden? Heaven on Earth? New Promised Land? |

The only way to do it is to use software that will download the video and convert it to a file type that can be handled by Powerpoint.
I use an add on to Firefox called Fast Video Download. The youtube video is saved to your PC as a .flv file. Then you need to convert the .flv file to an mpeg file using software such as Riva http://www.rivavx.com/index.php?encoder&L=3 A simpler way which does not involve installing software to your PC is http://vixy.net where the conversion is done online. However Vixy doesn't always work, so it's best not to try it when you're short of time. |
