i need to use microsoft excel for an assignment and i will need to use the following charts and chart types
1. bar charts: simple, multiple, component and percentage 2. Pie charts 3. Histograms: equal classed width and unequal class widths 4. Frequency Polygon 5. Cumulative Frequency Polygon 6. Ogive (not sure what this is never heard of it) 7. Scatter diagram with line of best fit basically i need to create a user guide on how to do these things in excel and it has to be the new 2007 excel. If i myself dont know how to do this then what am i supposed to do? I can easily make a user guide but just need guidance on how i would create them and some examples of data would be appreciated different data for different charts/graphs. It also says this and my teacher is so rubbish he doesnt even explain properly Your guide should also include the necessary steps needed to find the following from 1) Raw data, 2) Grouped Frequency Tables (Using appropriate fully worked examples throughout) Mean, Median, Mode, Standard Deviation, Inter-Quartile Range. For paired data show how to find, using appropriate examples throughout, Pearson's Product Moment Correlation Coefficient Equation of the Regression Line Y on X •Where formulae or in-built functions are used to achieve particular results using the spreadsheet, you should provide two versions of the output-- a values version and a formula version. The formula version should also contain row and column headings. Additional task Show appropriate Financial Calculations to show the link between Simple and Compound Interest. the above extra details i do not understand plllssss helpppp someone anyone!!! god im so dumb!! |

First off you have to have a copy of Office 07 to even begin. Trust me. 07 is light years beyond 03 and the set up has been simplified so much that you can't cross instructions for 03 and 07.
Once you open Office Excel 07 you will see in the upper right hand corner a "?" in a blue bubble. Press that and put in the questions you asked. It will give you almost 90% of them if you just read the listings. Trust me Office 2007 is very easy to use and the help section is much better than 03 could have dreamed about. Here is the link to a 90 day trial of MS Office 07: http://office.microsoft.com/en-us/products/HA101741481033.aspx I've been using it since around January and I will never go back to 03, I even installed it at work. You can save all documents to be backwards compatible for those not as lucky as you. |
