It worked fine 2 days ago but then yesterday it just wouldn'y open any of my documents. It's not the doctuments because I sent one to my friend to open and it worked fine!

Did you try opening MS Word first then go to open your document? This sometimes helps. Also try restarting...If this doesn't work hopefully you can email it to a friend or professor to get it printed out...I would try to save it on something just in case...

Need more information. Specifically, what method are you using to try to open your documents?

1) Finding them in My Computer and double-clicking them to open them, or

2) First running Word and then opening them from inside Word.

If #2 works, but not #1, then the problem is not with Word, but with the Windows file association for ".doc" files (that is, it's somehow forgotten what program it's supposed to use to open them). However, we do need more information to tell for sure. Please add more details to your question.

Could you explain more on your problem?
