Have downloaded appropriate Vista compatable drivers from Epson site but cannot get my Photo R800 printer to work with a new Dell Inspiron 531 preloaded with Vista Home Basic - it just spews out blank or very occasionally partly printed pages/photos - despite system showing printer, connected via USB, as being correctly installed. When connected to my 8 year old Dell operating on Windows 2000 absolutely no printing problems. Have tried uninstalling and then reinstalling using downloads from both the Epson UK and US sites and spoken to both Epson and Dell Technical Desks at considerable length, but so far no solution. Has anyone else experienced this problem or have suggestions as to the solution. Really don't want to have to replace the printer. Thanks in anticipation.

upgrade to windows XP and don't buy vista till service pack 2 comes out for it.
