I have a 1 year old Sony VAIO laptop which came loaded with Windows Vista Business Edition. Last Easter, my uncle was showing me how to hook up something on his home network and made a seperate User ID, which actually was the Administrator User ID on my computer. I never used the account he made at all,I always used my User Account which was a standard user. Last week I decided to delete his user account, since then my computer pretty much has been comatose. I use my User Id, I can barely open one program, the computrer keeps telling me that I do not have proper permission to open files. It wont let me play videos, look at pictures, or go on the internet, it won;t let me Install any programs, or even open word processor. PLEASE HELP!!!
I called Sony Tech Support, they told me that my computer was a year and one month old and my warranty was over. They wanted to charge me $90.00 for phone tech support
