I have a memory stick inserted into a windows vista laptop with important files on that i really need to access. When I insert it I cant find the folder for it ANYWHERE!

Its not in my computer...anywhere?
help?

try changing the folder viewing options to see hidden folders by going to either organize>folder and search options or view>folder options and under the view tab, click the flag that says show hidden files and folders

can't say i have ever had this before to be honest therefore i don't have a perfecr solution. all i can suggest is that you close all the applications on your desktop and then re-insert the USB stick. good luck!
