OK. I have had my laptop for almost a year now. This problem just started about 3 weeks ago after I downloaded a critical HP update. Now, when I wake it up from sleep mode, the desktop comes up for a few seconds, then goes to a black screen and moves my cursor back to the center of the screen, the desktop flashes back for a couple of seconds, it goes black for a second time, again for a few seconds, then returns to the desktop like normal. Anyone else have this issue and if so, have you the answer as to how to correct it? While it is not a serious issue, it is rather annoying now.
