I get this error message at start up, it wont let my desktop load properly or even show any icon, i can only run my computer through the task manager, i was able to track and find the file but I dont know how to fix it or add the missing entry, please help!!!!!!

Boot from the Vista installation DVD choose repair then startup repair.
