Hi! Can someone help me please! I keep getting error messages about .dll files and I don't know what to do to fix it! I've tried typing the error message into the search engine but there aren't any results. I think I have a virus but I can't get my new Norton to install properly and the task bar keeps dissapearing too. One of the messages was ..............hovboske.dll and another was Error in .........vfnyxkr.dll missing element:run. I hope someone can help me please! Thanks in advance.
Also all my icons on the desktop just randomly dissapear too. Also it won't install anything properly. Sorry to be a pain! |

First, I suggest that you download the free version of AVG antivirus and run it.. It doesn't catch everything, but it catches a lot.
I like to keep a couple of free antivirus programs on my computer. They aren't always running like AVG does, but they're there when I think I need them. When I google your dll files, I don't see info on which program they belong to. It's possible that your puter is trying to start up a program and is getting snagged when it can't find what it's looking for. You will need to try to find out what program(s) are causing the problem (most likely at start up time) and either reinstall them or remove them from start up. |
