Why do you have two copies of Vista?
What was the first Operating system that you put on here? You need to restore your vista boot loader. I'm guessing when you installed XP, it made itself the main boot loader, thus giving you problems with your vista. But it also wouldn't surprise me when you installed your second vista (from some strange reason) that over wrote the previous boot loader. You are just taking up space to have vista home? Everything Vista home can do, vista Ultimate does and more? Why have Vista home? You would start all over, Install XP first, get that working, then install Vista ultimate. And then see if you really want to put on Vista home. Also you better make sure you name all these drivers. Because each OS thinks its installed on the C (primary) drive. So if you get into XP, it thinks its on the C drive, when you get to either copy of Vista, it well think its on the C drive. |
