My friend, I'd have to go with the uninstallation of Vista, and the installation of XP.

1)Vista is known to have lots of compatibility issues with older software, especially games.

2)XP is MUCH more stable. Vista, years after release, still has bugs and holes.

3)It is easier to get help from communities like this one if you use XP, as more people than not have stuck with XP rather than converting.

be forwarned all microsoft vista weather home premium basic etc. have many security blocks many things to prevent you from accomplishing things . media player 11 is there . it will not allow you to view any decrypted movies you might want to record . things like limewire free music it blocks dont buy get older xp os . its better vista is a huge failure .
