i have a windows vista running on my laptop.
i can't seem to be able to "tap" or click on things on the touchpad, but instead i have to use buttons.

is there a way where i can enable tapping on my touchpad so i can click on my touch pad instead of using the buttons?

i dont have the tab labelled tapping

i have
Buttons, Pointers, Pointer Options, Wheel, Hardware, and Device Settings

Control panel, hit classic view in the top left collumn and double click mouse, from their you choose the tab labbeled tapping and select on.
