Can someone tell me how i can fix my computer, when i go to my control panel, and click on just about anything i get the following message, 'This file does not have a program associated with it for performing this action. Create an association in the Set Associations control panel.', so i went to try to set an association, and i got the same message for the set associations link. please help!!

When mine gets really bad like yours is, I do a total restore. I liked xp better myself, but thats another story. Turn off your pc,wait 15 seconds, then turn it on again. Put your finger on the F11 key. When your screen says to, push that key. You will have only about 3 seconds to push it. If you miss it, try again. Then follow directions. This will restore it to original factory condition, so you should save all the important stuff first. This always works for me, however I do it as a last resort because it takes awhile to put everything back in.

Old news. This appears after a bad crash and it's only the beggining. Don't bother fix it, it will only get worse. It's that happy,happy time: New Install !! Yuppy !!
