Default Internet connection problem with Win XP vista style?

i just formated my computer and installed windows XP vista style, but when i try to set up an internet connection it always ask me to install the software from a CD which i do not have, so, am i able to download a driver? could some one hlp me to solve this problem, thanks

You were referring to those XP, Vista preparatory....sp3 enhanced kind of stuff.....I am uncertain though if it was an official Microsoft release....try to check the official Microsoft Support Center first. If it were a pirated issue, then such disk could imperill your systems condition and security. It is highly inappropriate to discuss troubleshooting of pirated copies ....it is illegal and unsafe...!! Official hardware drivers though are given for free at the official Microsoft Update Website....it automatically detects compatible drivers and prompts you upon installation!!

I dont quite understand the problem since you didnt write the error message but it might not recognize your modem. You can go and download the necessary drivers from your modems web page.
