Unfortunately your story is common. No software prior to 2003 works on Vista. For the same reason, I have a Mac and will soon get XP put on and change it to the new vista aero look. I cannot stand IE7. The entire is is bloated and hogs to many resources. Regardless of what they say, error message continue and more driver don't work than do. None of the graphics or sound drivers cleanly work with Vista
