MS Photo Editor is part of Word '97. On Vista Home, for JPGs from Canon SD750 it gives an error message: "error reading file". It works fine on JPGs downloaded off the internet & old photos from an older camera.

It's not avail in the newer versions of Word. I really like it more than the rest of my photo SW. Has anyone found a fix?

Windows support site says it's not compatible. I downloaded Canon's latest SW but it didn't work. I've copied directly off the memory card, and used the canon SW to download photos.
