I installed Vista SP1 back in like March, and well, when I turned on the Laptop today, there was a windows popped up that said I have 2 days to backup my files and install a version of Windows Vista.

HELP!!

This is whats pissing me off: I bought the laptop w/ Vista on it, so I'm definitely not paying for Vista again :\
I just did what the latest answer said, and it says that windows is activated :x

if your laptop come with vista then you should have the validation key with it just go to control panel click classic view them system at the bottom is register now.there is also a place there to enter the key if you haven't already

Heh! ... One way or another, you're going to have to re-install Windows Vista.

Either buy a registered copy of the software or find a more up-to-date pirated copy of the software (with SP1 and the serial key built into it).
