Hi, i have Vista Ultimate x64 on my Q6600 and 4GB of RAM every time i open any kind of installer (Like FEAR setup or Hellgate setup and so on) my ram usage goes crazy i mean CRAZY 99% use and 3000mb cashed and 0 free (In task manager) i was wondering is there any way i could fix this??? plz help i'm going out of my mind
BTW i allready tried to disable Superfetch and it did'nt make any change plz help

I forgot to mention that even after i close an installer ( or after it finishes installing) my ram usage stays as high as it was

Don't worry about it. Your computer will always use as much RAM as available when doing installs. The only thing you can do is turn all other programs off. And yeah I know vista is a RAM sucker. I have a brand new xpsM1730 and I thought I could get away with 2GB. I was wrong. I would use 75% just to run Team Fortress 2!!
