I'm sorry. I didn't put there the whole description. (my first question on yahoo).

Hello, I'm having a problem with my laptop, I got there Vista Premium, one month old installation. Irregularly after 48 hours after a restart I loose some of my settings.

Lotus Notes is like bright new installation and need to configure it again, I also loose database which were created before.
Passwords of my accounts get lost as well
Network connections and mapped discs disappearing.

Any idea why is this happening? How to prevent that?

What kind of problem is it? If you give details weŽll be a ble to help you.
Is it the speed? Is it the sound? What error messages do you get?
Extend your problem please

According to what you describe above I imagine that the program installed was in a bad condition and had problems. If I were you I would take my PC to a shop and have Windows reinstalled again.I donŽt think anyone from here can help you solve the problem.Sorry!
Have you thought about getting XP instead? Vista is still quite unknown and giving problems not even Microsoft can solve yet.Looks very nice but at the end a lot of people (me included) have gone back to XP.In a couple of years time Vista will probably be better.
Good luck!
