Default I just bought a usb to ide adapter to get files off of an old internal

drive. i have windows vista.any help? i plugged it in and its supposed to run without drivers, but its not showing up. i have hidden folders showing .my laptop is an everex stepnote.
anyone else with an answer that doesnt require having to switch back ot xp, i know vista blows, but its what i have now.

go back to windows xp cause vista blows or you can wait until Windows 7 comes out
