Default trouble installing canoscan 5000f scanner drive onto windows vista?
i just got a Canoscan 5000f, but it didn't come with the software, so i have to download the driver. i use Windows Vista, and downloaded the driver from www.canon.com. i'm having trouble doing it.

can someone give me some simple step-by-step intructions on how to do this????

i'm kind of desperate, lol

When you're asked to 'Run/Open' or 'Save' the download, choose 'Run or Open'. Take note of where the file is and double click the .EXE to install.
