This one is strange. I just got a new pc with Vista home Premium on it. Was playing around with the settings, and next thing I know my desktop icons have a black square covering part of them. Looks like just programs are affected, not system links (computer, recycle, etc.) How do I fix these back to showing the whole icon?

i think i've got this one....right click on the mouse on the main desktop and go to "personalize" at the bottom....then on task on the left side of the box it says "change desktop icons" or somethin like that..then push "restore default settings" if not, your answer to that problem is still in the "personalize" section and you'll have to mess with it a lil.
