okay windows media player and quicktime player always worked fine.
i downloaded vlc from filehippo to watch avi. wihcih work fine.

But after i downloaded vlc anything that i open that isn't in avi. will not open/work/404 screen.

So i went to default setting and it still won't work, so than i unstalled vlc and again it still nothing.

it just sucks i can't get my windows media player or quick time to work. music plays fine, but not videos.

please help. thank you.

right click on the file, and click open with... and then select media plaer or quicktime, then check the arrow that sais always use this program
