System Specs:
Brand New Gateway FX Desktop

2.5GHz Quad
6GB RAM
9800GT Video Card

When I play Half Life 2 for more than 10 minutes I get this error "HL2.exe stopped working". Happens every time and I've gotten BSoD a couple times.

When playing Medieval Total War 2 I got BSoD.

Got BSoD twice in a row when browsing internet.

Solutions? Should I return computer since I payed good money for it and I'm getting not so great results? Should I get an iMac since Vista is full of bugs? I do photography as a hobby lets hope Photoshop doesn't have any errors when I install that....

With these system specs everything should be extremely fast (which most stuff is) and I shouldn't have problems like these but Vista manages to mess things up.....
