Default Reinstalled Vista after crash and now everything is tiny! Please Help!?

When I bought this computer it had Vista Basic on it. Well last night it crashed and I had to reinstall the software from the DVD Dell sent me. Well now every thing is tiny!

I know that when you look at a web page that you can press ctrl and scroll to make the text and images larger, but they do not stay that way. My icons are tiny, my start button is tiny. I tried to go in and adjust everything and it only made the text bigger. That only fixed one problems (sort of), except for the fact I have large text in a tiny field...uggg!

I have a program that I use, or to say a client, to play a game online. Well when I open it up the game loads in an area a little larger than 1/4 of my 17" screen. Before the crash, when I opened the program it covered my entire screen. Now everything is misplaced and tiny.

I have tried adjusting my dpi but this only provides a distorted version of what it should be. The web pages are still only in the center of the screen with tiny print. Please Help

Default

you have not install your graphics card drivers.
Go to device manager (right click on Computer >properties >device manager )
in device manager is there anything like an exclamation mark or a question mark ?
if there is , you need to right click and install the drivers.
either from the web or else with the cd that came with the machine.
let me know if you have any questions.

thanks & good luck !
