Windows Vista Parental Controls Problem?
I can't view half of the pictures on MySpace. No reason for it, really, they're just randomly blocked. I can't even see some of my own pictures. I've explained the problem to my dad and it frustrates me that the parental controls on Vista are blocking my friends' pictures. He's tried a few things to let me view the pictures, but nothing has worked so far, most likely because each picture on MySpace has a unique domain name. Does anyone have a solution for allowing MySpace images?
That doesn't work. He's tried adding all kinds of stuff with "MySpace" in the domain name and the pictures are still blocked. The problem is that the domain name for all MySpace pictures goes something like:
http://a$$$.ac-images.myspacecdn.com/
with a random string of three digits in place of the $$$. This means that there are potentially hundreds of different domain names for all the images on MySpace. Even if he added, say
http://a898.ac-images.myspacecdn.com/
to the allow list, any of the other 998 domain names could still be blocked.
Furthermore, I'm already using FireFox and the pictures don't show up.
