Gateway laptop. All devices under "network adapters" have exclamation points. When I try to uninstall any of them, it seems to go through the process of uninstalling, but doesn't actually uninstall it. I tried downloading new driver and installing on top of the old one, but it still doesn't work.
unfortunately, it's not my laptop, and can't check the board, but the model number of the notebook is MX8711
