My WMM worked fine on Vista Home Basic but the laptop was defective. Got an upgraded model (HP Pavillion dv6000) with more ram (2GB), more processor (2GHz) more everything. This laptop has Vista Home Premium (VHP) and WMM won't preview the clips once I add transitions.
Been trying to research this: ppl on forums saying that WMM won't work on VHP.

Can someone tell me if indeed WMM works without problems on Vista Home Basic (VHB) but NOT on VHP? Is there a way to get a free version of VHB and remove VHP if that is the case?

Is the problem with Vista or with the hardware of my laptop? I phoned the HP support techs many times, they have no clue what to tell me...
