When I connect my HP printer do my laptop I can't find it on 'My computer' so I can't scan things though I can print from word.

It says my printer doesn't work with windows vista, is there anything I can do ? I tried to install the software again but vista doesn't accept it. Is there a patch or something ?

Please help me!
