Default

tap on F8 on start once you reach a screen that says
safe mode
normal mode
an all that kinda stuff
there would be an option to repair, select that with up and down arrow keys and hit enter.
or just put your vista DVD in and select Repair computer.

the error that you are getting is from a service called spool , which is generally used for printers, make sure you have an updated driver for printer, try and reinstall printer drivers while you can using the printer CD, if you dont have a printer you can just stop the printer spooler service.
if you just want to get rid of error
click on start , type MSCONFIG on search box and hit enter.
click on the tab that says startup, check which entry says something about your printer or just google all entries and find it and uncheck it
and click on apply and exit.
