Default I have a Vista computer problem?

Whenever I open a dropdown menu, it freezes in place. Even after i click on the item i want, the menu remains there, frozen on the screen. No matter what i do, the menu stays there unless i reboot the computer. Is this some sort of glitch memory problem that can be fixed? or is it an annoyance i'll have to live with?

You are probably are in a $400 computer from walmart with a bazillion demoware installed and other crap running on startup.Format it and install only the OS and the programs you use.Disable the memory hog application on Vista and get a good antivirus
