Hey, so I changed my mobo, and when I tried to install Vista, at the very last step which is "Wait for Windows Vista to star for the first time" I get an error message "No drive can be found" or something like that. The I restart it and goes to a black screen qiht white letters, "Start on Safe Mode" etc... nothing works, it keeps restarting.

So I thought it was my HDD, so I put on an old but working HDD, tried installing vista, the same thing happened. I tried to install XP, same thing. So at this point I think is my DVD drive. So I get my hands on a CD drive, install XP and it did work. I check my DVD drive on vista, burn some cds, works like a charm. Try to watch some dvds, still works.

Does my new mobo have to do with it? Maybe drivers? Or is my DVD Drive faulty?
