Default Windows VISTA. .can you help??

I cant seem to run system restore....well it tries to but then it says unable to do it...Why is this?? is there a hidden setting that I need to check?

OK and another thing. . since then I have a window come up EVERYTIME I start my comp saying the windows wishes to restart and I should select YES/NO . . I tried clicking yes to see if that solves it but nooooo every time it shows up. Its now really quite annoying and not being a computer wizz I'm stuck with what to do about it.

Any suggestions??

Please remember Im not great at software etc etc

Vista is full of bugs, your best bet is to call microsoft support because that restart problem is not normal and may be a flaw in the O/S. they can hook up to your computer directly and help you sort it out.

Check the corners of the setting box and see if you could get a box. In this box, you will have to tick it in accordance to whether you want it to appear next time you boot or not.
good luck
