i got this recent update from window vista but the update cause my internet connection to disconnect
and also disable my linkssys wireless-g ubs network adapter 2005
and also there is another update for the same adapter above
but version 2006 ...and i try updating it but then the cpu says the update got error... so..what is the problem?please help me

boot your windows into safe mode, (press f8 continuously as it starts up), and shut down again. If you had any problems shutting down, i cant help you with that. But if you didn't have any trouble shutting down, reboot into normal mode, and try again. If it still has that problem download HijackThis at http://www.trendsecure.com/portal/en-US/tools/security_tools/hijackthis and run a scan. Look it over, delete anything you think you dont need, and reboot. If it STILL doesnt work, uninstall every previous windows update and reinstall them again.
