Went from Firefox 2.o to 3.0 and now all kinds of problems! It will not let me open certain web pages, tried to dump dns cache, will not let (it is running), windows firewall is set to allow Mozilla, ran Malware, AVS 8.0, adware, spybot...no viruses, ran Sincuna file/patch updated drivers, etc, all up to date, when I go to my bookmarks and say click on Google, it comes back with http;/ 1.1 404 error. I have ran dial a fix, winsock, pc optimzer, ccleaner, uninstalled Firefox and re-nstalled several times, still same problem...have checked ttp's and done every thing else but burp it! Any ideas? I may try to put in win xp disk and do a repair next.

yes install IE7 an almost identical program to firefox, have any of the site your trying to access been put in restricted sites, cotrol panel>internet options? roll back to firefox 2.0 if that was successful??you may have a corrupt download?

remove firefox and restart and install new one 3.1..
